CONTACT US TODAYThe VITA 62 standard defines specifications for power supply modules within the VPX ecosystem. It supports interoperability between vendors by helping power modules, backplanes, and other VPX system components work together according to defined mechanical and electrical requirements.
Key advantages can include improved interoperability, reduced integration effort, high power density, and stable power delivery under demanding operating conditions.
Because these modules are often used in sealed or space-constrained enclosures, they typically use conduction cooling. Heat is transferred from internal components to the module chassis and then to the system cold plate or chassis walls.
Depending on the model and system architecture, some Bel Aerospace & Defense VPX power solutions may also support air- or liquid-cooled configurations.
All our power and networking solutions are configurable. Work directly with our experienced engineers to tailor one of our mature designs – power input & output range, voltage & current levels, connector style, number of ports, form factor, additional compute hosting, MIL-STD compliance, and much more – our team can create a power or networking solution for your unique application with minimal or no NRE investment.
We are also experienced in developing custom solutions from specifications, addressing unique design challenges - saving you platform space, integration risk, and development time.
